The Achievement Scholarship Program (ASP)
 
ASP is a scholarship program funded by the National Science Foundation to provide financial assistance to students with documented financial need who are seeking degrees in engineering, physics, and math. Scholarship criteria include both financial need and academic performance. Click here for more information
 
LARRY C. & BLANCHE V. FRAZIER ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
  • Must be Engineering student, any grade level
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Up to $1,500 per academic year.
  • Renewal requires re-applying.
WILLIAM G. CARSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
  • Full time student in good standing who has completed one year of active participation in the Engineers Without Borders program at Fort Lewis College
  • GPA of 2.75 or better
  • Long term commitment to involvement in the Engineers Without Borders program at Fort Lewis College, assuming an increasingly significant leadership role
  • Coursework choices that support academic understanding of the Engineers Without Borders program ideals
  • Must complete senior seminar research on an Engineers Without Borders related project
  • Up to $2,000 per academic year.
The Craig-Dyer Scholarship
  • Graduate of high schools in La Plata and Archuleta Counties of CO
  • Accepted to FLC as degree-seeking, full-time student enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours per term.
  • Must have been out of school less than three years and be a CO resident.
  • Must not be eligible for need-based financial aid.
  • Any major is acceptable, but in the event two or more applicants are otherwise rated equally, priority given to individuals planning to major in agriculture, education, or engineering.
  • Renewal requires re-applying.

Brent Janus Memorial Scholarship
  • Sophomore standing or higher
  • Physics major preferred/Political Science second
  • 3.2 GPA or better and must be maintained
  • Up to $750.00 per academic year.
  • Renewal requires re-applying.
Ora V. & Clifford G. McCathron Engineering Scholarship
  • Sophomore standing or higher with Engineering listed as major
  • 3.0 GPA or better and must maintain a 3.0 GPA
  • For both in-state and out-of-state students
  • Essay required to explain reason for choosing Engineering
  • Up to $2000 per academic year (can be used towards tuition, fees, and books).
  • Renewal requires re-applying.
Additional Forms/ Requirements: FAFSA completed and returned to Financial Aid; Foundation Scholarship Application; academic transcript(s).
