Our Services -

The Office of Financial Aid processes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine a student’s eligibility for need-based aid and federal loans

Need-based aid consists of:

  • Federal, State, and Institutional Grants
  • Work-study
  • Federal loans 

Additional Services:

At Fort Lewis College, students are assigned a financial aid counselor according to their last name.  Counselors are available to: 

  • Counsel students and parents about the financial aid process;
  • assist students with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);
  • explain the criteria and award limits on Federal, State, and Institutional awards   so that students can manage their funds, and understand how to keep their aid.
