Fort Lewis College awards three types of renewable scholarships to assist undergraduate students with financing their college education.
- Merit scholarships are awarded by the Office of Admission and Advising based on the application for admission. The Office of Financial Aid automatically renews these scholarships if the renewal criteria have been met. Merit scholarships include the Achievers Tuition Scholarship, Freshman Tuition Merit Scholarship, New Mexico Reciprocal Scholarship, and the Transfer Tuition Merit Scholarship.
- Opportunity scholarships are awarded at the time of admission by the Office of Admission and Advising and the Office of Financial Aid. The Office of Financial Aid automatically renews these scholarships if the renewal criteria have been met. Opportunity scholarships include the First Generation Scholarship and the Ottens Foundation Scholarship.
- Performance scholarships are awarded by the Finish in Four! Program. The Coordinator of Degree Completion approves the Graduation Agreement scholarships for renewal if the renewal criteria have been met.
The terms and conditions published for the initial award year will be unchanged for the duration of the scholarship award. These are listed below for each institutional scholarship.
