Fort Lewis College Road Scholars Team

Fort Lewis College will be fielding a 101-rider Road Scholars Team for the 2012 Iron Horse Bicycle Classic McDonald’s Citizen Tour to raise funds for the IHBC Scholarship Fund. Last year, the 2011 FLC Centennial Team raised over $6,800 for young scholars and we hope for great success again this year. The Iron Horse Bicycle Classic will contribute $10 for each Road Scholars entry to the IHBC Scholarship fund. Thank you IHBC! Thank you Road Scholars!

The Fort Lewis College Road Scholars Team, wearing jerseys that are available only to team riders, have the option to start at the front of the pack at the May 26th Citizen Tour.

The Road Scholars Team is limited to 101 riders and is open to Fort Lewis College alumni, current students, faculty/staff, and their families or significant others, and FLC supporters, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The $195 Road Scholars Team registration fee pays for the IHBC McDonald’s Citizen Tour entry fee, a jersey and a fifty dollar tax-deductible donation to the IHBC Scholarship Fund. The Iron Horse Bicycle Classic will also contribute $10 for each Road Scholars entry to the IHBC Scholarship Fund.  There are only 101 slots, so complete the online registration and payment form as soon as you can. We will host a Road Scholars Happy Hour on Saturday, May 26th, 2012 from 5 - 7 p.m. at the College Student Union. More information to come.
