This lab is also equipped with a monitor shut-off switch allowing the instructor to more effectively turn students attention away from non class related computer activities. (Click here for image).

The projector has a timer that must be set before it can be turned on (Click here for image).

To Project a Video
Turn ON the projector with the remote at the front of the classroom (Located below the whiteboard.). After the projector has warmed up press the Video button on the remote controlbelow the whiteboard.. The VCR is located to the left of the computer desk. For sound make sure the amplifier (Under the VCR) power is on, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled VCR s turned up.
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

To Project the Computer
Turn ON the projector with the remote at the front of the classroom (Located below the whiteboard.).  If you don't see the computer image projected after the projector has warmed up try pressing the computer button on the remote control below the whiteboard.. For sound make sure the amplifier (left of the computer desk) power is on, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled Computer is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer. 
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

To Project a DVD
Turn ON the projector with the remote control in the front of the classroom. DVDs can be played in the VCR or computer.If you don't see the image projected after the projector has warmed up try pressing the video button on the remote control below the whiteboard.

Connecting a Laptop
Use the spare monitor cord labled "Laptop" kept in the Laptop Cabels drawer below the VCR/DVD and press the comp button below the whiteboard twice. Contact Media Services (7115) for help.
