This lab is also equipped with a monitor shut-off switch allowing the instructor to more effectively turn students attention away from non class related computer activities. (Click here for image).

To Project a Video
Turn ON the projector with the power button located below the whiteboard. After the projector has warmed up press the Video button located on the panel below the whiteboard. The VCR/DVD is located below and to the right of the computer monitor. For sound make sure the amplifier (below the VCR/DVD) power is on, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled VCR/DVD is turned up.  
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

To Project the Computer
Turn ON the projector with the power button located below the whiteboard. If you don't see the computer image projected after the projector has warmed up try pressing the computer button on the panel below the whiteboard. For sound make sure the amplifier (below the VCR/DVD) power is on, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled Computer is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer.
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Projecting a DVD
Turn ON the projector with the power button located below the whiteboard. DVDs can be played in the VCR/DVD or computer.
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Connecting a Laptop
Use the spare monitor cord labled "Laptop" kept in the Laptop Cables drawer below the VCR/DVD and press the comp button below the whiteboard twice. Contact Media Services (7115) for help.
