The site you will map to is dependent upon your role on campus, i.e. faculty, staff, or student.
So students would use "https://student.fortlewis.edu/files", staff would use "https://staff.fortlewis.edu/files", and faculty would use "https://faculty.fortlewis.edu/files".

Windows 7

  1. Right-click "Computer" from the Windows button
  2. Click "Map network drive..."
  3. Click the link "Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures."
  4. Click "Next"
  5. Select "Choose a custom network location"
  6. Click "Next"
  7. Type "https://<your role here>.fortlewis.edu/files" in the "Internet or network address:" field
  8. Click "Next"
  9. If prompted for a user name and password type in your Fort Lewis credentials
    Username needs to be fully qualified by being in one of the following formats:
    "username@fortlewis.edu" or "fortlewis\username".
  10. Give the location a name such as "My FLC shares"
  11. Click "Next"
  12. Click "Finish"

Windows XP

  1. Right-click "My Computer" from the Start button
  2. Click "Map network drive..."
  3. Click the link "Sign up for online storage or connect to a network server."
  4. Click "Next"
  5. Select "Choose a custom network location"
  6. Click "Next"
  7. Type "https://<your role here>.fortlewis.edu/files" in the "Internet or network address:" field
  8. Click "Next"
  9. If prompted for a user name and password type in your Fort Lewis credentials
    Username needs to be fully qualified by being in one of the following formats:
    "username@fortlewis.edu" or "fortlewis\username".
  10. Give the location a name such as "My FLC shares"
  11. Click "Next"
  12. Click "Finish"

Mac OS X (10.3 or later)

  1. On the Finder menu select Go -> Connect to Server
  2. Enter "https://<your role here>.fortlewis.edu/files" in the "Server Address" field.
    Roles are: student, faculty or staff.
  3. Click the "Connect" button
  4. If prompted for a username and password type in your Fort Lewis credentials.
    Username needs to be fully qualified by being in one of the following formats:
    "username@fortlewis.edu" or "fortlewis\username".
