In addition to their teaching responibilities here on campus many of our faculty are members in various small and large ensembles and can be seen and heard around the Four Corners area.
The Red Shoe Trio is made entirely of Fort Lewis College music faculty members and performs in Durango and around the area.
The Durango Choral Society (DCS), led by Dr. Linda Mack has been enhancing the musical and cultural development of our community. Professor Andrew Homburg, tenor, and our newest vocal instructor, along with other music and Fort Lewis College staff and some of our own music students add their vocal talents to this finely tuned, enjoyable group.
San Juan Symphony is a regional orchestra comprised of players from around the Four Corners area. Most of our instrumental faculty members perform with the San Juan Symphony.
Jeff Solon's popular Swingin' Big Band entertains dancers and listeners alike with their renditions of all the favorites of the big band era.
