Accomplishments include:

  • Winter 2008 Fort Lewis College Featured Scholar

  • The Fort Lewis College Choirs appearance at the Colorado Music Educators Association Conference

  • The Chamber Choir performance at Carnegie Hall

  • Former Music Director and Conductor of the Santa Fe Desert Chorale

  • Artistic Director of the Durango Choral Society

  • Performed with the Robert Shaw Festival Singers in France

  • Performed at Carnegie Hall Choral Festival and Santa Fe Pro Musica

  • Appeared as a soloist with the Music in the Mountains Festival, the San Juan Symphony, and as a regular participant in the FLC faculty recital series.

  • Frequent guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator throughout the region.
  • Recent conducting appearances have included large festival choirs in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Oklahoma,
  • Performed with the Animas Music Festival, Showcase Concert Series, and the Corsi Internazionali Di Musica Festival in Urbino, Italy.
  • Led the Vancouver Chamber Choir as part of the National Conductors’ Symposium in 2000.

  • Conducted two world premieres in 2003 for choir and percussion by composers from Sweden and the United States at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.

  • Earned a doctoral degree from the University of Illinois.
