The outdoor adventure program provides Native students at FLC with an opportunity to engage in outdoor activities for little or no charge. The goal of this program is to increase interest in healthy physical activities, and to provide students with a way to relieve stress and socialize with others in a positive environment. These activities give students a chance to make new friends, socialize with old friends, and possibly try something completely new!
Through this program, the staff of the NAC has taken students horseback riding, day hiking, whitewater rafting and snowboarding. More exciting events are being planned for 2011. Please check out the latest NAC calendar, or stop by the Native American Center for more information.
