Those
who are interested in becoming tutors are required to meet the following requirements
and need to obtain the following information to be qualified:
v
Complete a tutor application
v
Have a minimum G.P.A of 2.75, in the subject that they are interested in tutoring.
v
Submit an academic transcript.
v
Submit your current class schedule
v
Provide a letter of reference from a professor who is familiar with your academic
ability in the subject you wish to tutor.
Students
can receive credit or be paid for tutoring.
Those who wish to be paid, begin at $6.00 an hours, but will vary depending
on experience. Wages are disbursed
on a monthly basis. If one chooses
to receive credit, they can receive up to three credit hours. Credits are issued base on the number of hours
tutored:
v
30 hours per term=1 Credit (2 hours/week during each term)
v
60 hours per term=2 Credit (4 hours/week during each term)
v
90 hours per term=3 Credit (6 hours/week during each term)
