Welcome to the Native American Center

Mission Statement

The Native American Center (NAC) promotes the academic success and personal development of all Native American students who attend Fort Lewis College. We do this through academic, cultural, and social support. The Center also serves to foster the wider concept of diversity at Fort Lewis College, in the local community, and within the larger Four Corners area.

The Center is a friendly and inviting place for Native American students to come and study, socialize, participate in academic support programs, utilize resources, or attend cultural programs and activities. Fort Lewis College offers a quality education to Native students from across the country. We have an average of 800 Native students each semester and over 120 different tribes/nations are represented by our students who are traditional and non-traditional, single, single parents, or couples with children.
