Tour de France rider Tom Danielson to conduct Q&A at Fort Lewis College

The public is invited to get to know highest placing American in the 2011 Tour de France and Fort Lewis College alumnus, Tom Danielson. Tom will conduct a Q&A on Friday, September 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College. The tickets are free and can be picked up, first-come, first-served, at the Community Concert Hall beginning at 5 p.m. on the day of the event.

Fort Lewis College calls all alumni home for a reunion 100 years in the making

Fort Lewis College is calling all alumni home. The FLC Centennial Alumni Reunion will be held on August 5-6, 2011. Food, fun and live entertainment are all part of the reunion schedule. FLC's Tom Danielson finishes 9th in 2011 Tour de France

One of Fort Lewis College’s own, Tom Danielson, placed ninth in the world’s biggest bike race, the Tour de France, over the weekend. Tom, who rode for Team Garmin-Cervelo, placed 8 minutes, 15 seconds behind race winner Cadel Evans. His finish was the highest finish by an American rider.

Jordan Saylor: "I'm launching my own business"

I'm starting a personal assistant/concierge business with my three sisters, called Saylor and Company. Three of us studied accounting, so we all have a great grasp of business. We also have about 25 years of experience in nannying and personal assistant work between us. We’re focusing on small-event planning. We'll do the whole thing start to finish: grocery shopping, making the food, decorating, all of it.
