| DURANGO - Several area non-profits will make available Asian, African and Mexican art and craft for sale at the Fort Lewis College Art Gallery for three days starting November 14th. Some of the items for sale will include woven silk scarves, silk embroidered purses, felted wool accessories and ornaments from Kazakhstan, Shona stone sculptures from Zimbabwe, beaded animals, wooden bowls, Mexican ornaments and salsa, and numerous items from Kenya for the home. <more> |

(October 18, 2009) – Fort Lewis College and Brevard College clinched the Divisions I and II team omniums as the 2009 USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships came to a close on Sunday. | Truckee, Calif. (October 16, 2009) – It was a full day of racing at the 2009 USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships on Saturday with both short track and four-cross competitions on the agenda for day two. Fort Lewis College and Brevard College scored strong results and gained comfortable leads in the Divisions I and II team omnium competitions. They’ll try to hold onto these leads as the riders head into the final day of competition. <more> |
