Life-Long Learning lecture tells the story of the violin

DURANGO – Assistant Professor of Music at Fort Lewis College, Dr. Katarzyna Sokol will present a lecture/recital on the history of her instrument, the violin. Dr. Sokol is concertmaster of the San Juan Symphony, artistic director and conductor of the Durango Youth Symphony, and member of the Red Shoe Piano Trio.

 

The lecture, part of the Life-Long Learning Lecture Series takes place on Thursday, September 25 at 7 p.m. in Roshong Recital Hall at Fort Lewis College. It is free and open to the public.
