Special Event Setups

A variety of items are available at the Physical Plant for use on campus.  No funding source is provided for replacement of items so a nominal rental rate will apply.

The Physical Plant can assist in setting up special events on campus.  All set ups will be charged for labor and the nominal item specific rental rate.

The College has funded the Physical Plant for a few campus wide events. These events include Convocation/Graduation, Homecoming, Hozhoni Days Pow Wow and Varsity Sports Games. Specific limits are placed on the magnitude of the support for these events in Policy 9-11. 

Fort Lewis College supports local businesses.  Therefore we encourage the use of commercial rental companies for OFF CAMPUS events.  Under some circumstances FLC special events items can be rented but the non College users/functions will be charged a "commercial rate" not to compete with local businesses.

Note: Overtime, Evening and Weekend work as well as requests for labor (i.e. Custodial) outside the normal set-up will be charged an hourly rate.
