aspen leavesThe Physical Plant responds to between 13,000 and 14,000 work requests per year.  To facilitate the large work load, the work orders are generated using the iService Desk.  This automated system allows the requestor to track the progress of the work orders as well as receive an email upon completion.

A budget code is required on all work requests.  Fort Lewis College has funded the Physical Plant Services Department for routine operation and maintenance requirements only.  Therefore work orders of that nature are not chargeable and the work will not be charged back to the requestor.  Non-routine, department specific and departmental equipment are chargeable requests.  These work orders will be charged out at labor time and materials.
