Fort Lewis recognizes outstanding academic achievement through merit scholarships. These scholarships are applied to tuition. Students may receive only one four-year merit scholarship to cover tuition costs. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours a semester in order to receive merit-based awards
You can receive these scholarships each year for a total of four years if you maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA and 24 credit hours per academic year during your study at Fort Lewis College.
President's Scholarship

Other Scholarships
New Mexico Reciprocal Scholarship (note: awards are limited)

Eligibility: Students must live in New Mexico, with priority given to San Juan County residents. Freshmen must have an admission index of 110 or higher; transfer students must have a 3.5 college GPA or higher.

Annual award: In-state tuition rate (approx. $12,000 value)

Native American Tuition Scholarship

Eligibility: Member of federally recognized tribe

Annual award: Full-tuition, about a $15,000 value out-of-state; $3,000 in-state. This is a tuition scholarship and recipients are not eligible for other tuition scholarships like the New Mexico Reciprocal or other merit-based awards.
