The Public Health degree program here at Fort Lewis is composed of a core of courses that covers a basic public health curriculum, and additional courses that give students the ability to pursue areas of interest to them.  These areas include a public health practice track that helps student learn how to develop, implement, and assess public health related programs;  an allied health track intended for those students interested in pursuing a nursing program following graduation; a media track that will enable a student to learn how to disburse public health information through a variety of media outlets;  a psychosocial track that includes health psychology, sociology, and anthropology; and a Native American Health track that focuses on health issues and practices related specifically to Native American communities.  Each track culminates in a public health service learning opportunity.
