Winter 2013 Group Exercise Schedule
The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. Step it UP
Step It Up incorporates basic levels of a traditional step aerobics class, including: warm up, pure cardio step for at least 30 minutes, casual weight lifting, and relaxing cool down/stretch. This class is very fun and functional, a great option for cardio.
Getting bored with your every day workout? Feel like you aren't getting the results you want in the time you need them? Insane X will help you get off that plateau and challenge your body and mind. This class involves intervals of high intensity exercises followed by short breaks. Using cardio/plyometric moves to melt away the fat and strength training exercises to tone and shape your muscles, you will see results faster than your average workout. This class is a total body workout using a variety of exercise equipment. Used first in the Physical Therapy field, the ball is a perfect tool to gain balance and inner core strength. Weights, resistance bands, jump rope and steps make up a circuit training workout that is sure to make you sweat. Come join a growing class, We're having fun!
A great cardio workout suitable for all levels of fitness. You get the benefits of a high energy group exercise class but you have the ability to control the cycle tension of your individual workout to fit your personal fitness level. Come give it a spin!
is for people of all ages and genders. We will learn to get in touch with our mind, body, and spirit by a series of yoga poses incorporated with deep breathing exercises. Yoga helps the body stay flexible and fit, and teaches the mind to relax and be aware of one's self and our surroundings.
Traditional hatha yoga class consists of poses to expand range of movement, build strength and improve flexibility. Emphasis on correlation of breath to movement, balancing mind with body.
30 minutes focused on core strengthening. Free weights used for optimum performance.
Dance/ Body Flow
Experimental dance class with emphasis on fitness and self expression through dance. First, students meet to stretch and warm up followed by unstructured movement directed by rhythms played in particular succession - guiding students through a proper cardiovascular workout.
A class designed to work on all around toning, strength, stability, and flexibility. This class uses traditional Pilates’ moves to strengthen your abdominals, gluts, back, legs, and arms. This class integrates standing exercises with mat exercises.
