Practice Schedule (optional): 

Weekends: Giant slalom training at Purgatory

Weeknights: Slalom training at Chapman Hill

Number of Participants: 10

Eligibility: Must be taking 12 or more credit hours and maintain a 2.0 GPA

National Affiliation: USCSA (United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association)

Regional League: Rocky Mtn. Conference

Club Dues: $400

Process for joining:

  • Come to all meetings
  • Get a physical from the FLC Heath Center
  • Fill out FLC club sports packet
  • Register for USSA membership
  • Pay club dues

Equipment Needed:

  • Skis
  • Poles
  • Boots
  • Helmet
  • Goggles
  • Gloves
  • Shin guards
  • Pole guards
  • Ski jacket
  • Ski pants
  • Ski socks
  • Upper and lower long underwear*Many team members have extras of all equipment*

Previous Experience: No racing experience needed but preferred. Must be able to ski at a high level.

Commitment Expected from Members: Show up to all meetings, races, and ski team functions (ie fundraisers)

Other: Come join a fun and competitive ski team that races at multiple resorts around Colorado.
