A request for an Exception to Graduation Requirements may be initiated by the student, the student’s advisor, or a departmental faculty member for substitutions and waivers when necessary. If approved, the chair (or appropriate program director) and dean must notify the Registrar’s Office (email firstname.lastname@example.org). The student and advisors will be notified via email when the request is processed by the Registrar’s Office.
Exception to Graduation Requirement Process
1) Initiate the request to the chair (or appropriate program director).
2) If approved, the chair (or appropriate program director) will forward the approved exception to the appropriate Associate Dean for approval.
3) Once the exception is fully approved within the departments the approved exception should be sent to email@example.com.
