Prerequisite Policy

Prerequisites that are enforced by WebOpus for student registration are those listed in the official catalog covering the period during which the course is offered. Pre-requisites can be changed only with a new catalog. Department Chairs may change prerequisites by e-mailing a request to the Registrar. The deadline for changes effective the subsequent fall semester is January 31.

The same prerequisites must apply to all sections of a course, and must not be dependent upon the instructor who may be teaching a given section of the course.
