Meal Plans Residence Hall Students 2007-2008
Meal Plans Commuter or Apartment Students (see below)


All students living in a residence hall are required to participate in a meal plan. This is a requirement of FLC and is an integral part of the student's college experience. Residence hall students are automatically signed up for the UNLIMITED meal plan.  If you wish to change your meal plan, you may do so on your WebOPUS account under Student Services / Student Records.

Meal Plan Options:
When choosing a meal Plan, think carefully about each selection available before making your decision. Consider your daily routine. Will you often miss breakfast because of morning classes or sleeping in? Select a plan that best fits your livestyle:

  • Unlimited Meal Plan w/$100 Flex Dollars - $1,600
    Enter the River Rock Cafe as often as you wish (during open hours of operation) to eat meals or snacks. Also includes $100 Flex Dollars to spend at any campus dining location.
  • 14 Meals w/ $125 Flex Dollars -  $1537
    Choose any 14 of the 19 meals served each week throughout the trimester and $125 Flex Dollars to spend at any campus dining location.
  • 10 Meals w/ $150 Flex Dollars -  $1460
    Choose any 10 of the 19 meals served each week throughout the trimester and $150 Flex Dollars to spend at any campus dining location.

Meal Plan Options
for Commuter & Apartment Students

  • 5 Meals w/ $150 Flex Dollars - $541
    Choose any 5 of the 19 meals served each week throughout the semester.  Also includes $150 Flex Dollars to spend at any campus dining location.

Changes can be made the first two weeks of school prior to census date. Meal Plans and Flex dollars expire at the end of every semester.

Census Day:
Fall Semester  9/11/07
Winter Semester 1/22/08

FLC ID Card
Your FLC ID Card provides you with access to the River Rock Cafe and to your Flex Dollars. You must have your ID Card to enter the River Rock or to use your Flex Dollars at other Campus Dining locations. Lost ID's should be reported immediately to the SkyCard Service Center, room 58 in the CUB. A replacement ID can be obtained for a $15.00 charge at that office.

Special Needs
Special Dietary Requirements - Our Chef will be happy to work with you to meet your special dietary needs.
Sick and unable to come to dinner - have a friend bring your ID Card to the River Rock Cafe. We will be glad to let them pick up a meal for you. You can reach us at ext. 8141.
Dining on the Run - For when you don't have time to eat in the River Rock Cafe. Request your meal 24 hours in advance by calling the cashier at ext. 8141.

Campus Dining Policies and Procedures
So that you are sure to get the most from our services, we request that you adhere to the following procedures.

  • You must have your FLC ID Card to enter the River Rock Cafe and to access your Flex dollars.
  • ID Cards are non-transferable. Guests may not use your meals.
  • Please bus your own tables when finished eating.
  • Take only the food you plan to eat, and be sure to eat all you take.
  • Back packs may not be brought into the River Rock Cafe.
    Shirt and shoes must be worn.

Take Out Policy
Soda, water, etc. in your FLC Reusable mug may be taken from the dining room along with your choice of the following:
Two cookies
One piece of whole fruit
Dessert bar
Ice cream cone

All other foods must be consumed in the River Rock Cafe.
