Financial Aid

 

An important step in obtaining funding for your education is completing the FAFSA.  As a Colorado resident, you will need to apply for the Colorado Opportunity Fund. Visit Financial Aid for the forms and instructions.

Learning Support and Success

 

The Learning Support and Success programs consist of programs such as the Academic Success Program, Freshman Math Tutor Center, Language Lab and the Writing Center. Their aim is to form networks with other programs on campus in assisting students with study groups, arrangements for disability considerations and courses which enhance students academic progress.  View their website for additional information.

NAC Tutoring Program

The NAC Tutoring Program is staffed by students of Fort Lewis College who are knowledgeable in courses such as math, science, and computer science who assist in making the learning process easier and successful.

The Fort Lewis College Teacher Education Outreach Program brings contemporary and research based teaching techniques to the Southwest with professors for the exceptional cultures of the Four Corners.

Health Care and Insurance
Navajo Area Indian Health Service - Health Care Centers Locate the Health Care Centers serving the Navajo Area.  Visit the Indian Health Services website for more information regarding health care.  Indian Health Services may be available in Shiprock, New Mexico, or Ignacio, Colorado for those who qualify. Check with the Tribal Office regarding access to Indian Health Services while attending Fort Lewis College.

Health Center

 

The Health Center offers health care to all students of Fort Lewis College.  Visit their website for charges and hours of operation, as well as, information on the immunization requirements, and the Student Accident and Sickness Health Insurance plan.
