Campus Cycling Village Events

The following is a list of events at the Cycling Village on the Fort Lewis College campus. For a complete list of events please see the City of Durango's USA Pro Cycling Challenge web site or the Official Pro Cycling Challenge web site.

Cycling Village – teams and press will be coming in throughout the week prior to the start on August 20th. More information to follow on access to the teams.

  • Saturday, August 18th

    • Start Festival: 11-6 pm, Clock Tower area at FLC
      • Music, entertainment, food, drinks, beer garden, vendor booths, jumbotron, kid's area, and more
      • Pit Row, open to the public
      • Live radio broadcast (KIQX & KRSJ)
      • Bike rodeo, 12-3 pm
    • How It All Started Here: A pop-up cycling exhibit: 11-6; in front of Reed Library
    • Concert: 11:15 -12:30 - The Trio
    • Concert: 1:00-2:15 - The Assortment
    • Media Lunch: 12:30-1:30 pm (CSWS/Concert Hall Plaza)
    • Press Conference: 2-3:30 pm (Community Concert Hall)
    • Concert: 2:45- 4:00  Philip Sayce
    • Concert: 4:30- 6:00 Bonnie and her Clydes
    • Gala, 5-9 pm
  • Sunday, August 19th

    • Start Festival: 11-4 pm, Clock Tower area at FLC
      • Music, entertainment, food, drinks, beer garden, vendor booths, jumbotron, kid's area, and more
      • Pit Row, open to the public
    • How It All Started Here: A pop-up cycling exhibit: 11-4; in front of Reed Library
    • Concert: 11:00-12:15 - The Lisa Blue Trio
    • Concert: 12:45- 2:00 - Waiting on a Trial
    • Concert: 2:30-4:00 - Hello Dollface
    • All Staff Meeting: 8 pm (Community Concert Hall)
  • Monday, August 20th

    • FLC and Guido’s teaming up to offer VIP treatment at USA Pro Cycling Challenge
      • Gold Package:
        • Front “ Row “ VIP table on Guido’s private piazza to watch the Pro Cycling Challenge participants compete right in front of you
        • Reserved table from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Food served at 9:00 a.m.)
        • An authentic Italian food experience, mimosas and more
        • $200 per person
        • Benefits provided are valued at $50, therefore $150 can be considered tax deductible (please consult your tax preparer for further information)
      • Silver Package:
        • Reserved seating from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Meal is available at 9:00 a.m.)
        • A delicious Italian bag meal
        • Beverages
        • $75 per person
        • Benefits provided are valued at $20, therefore $55 can be considered tax deductible (please consult your tax preparer for further information)
