Christine Ferraro joined The Writing Program in the fall of 2013. She earned her Master’s degree in TESOL in the spring of 2013 from Temple University in Philadelphia, where she was born and raised. In 2001, she lived in Durango and earned her teaching certification from FLC. Though she comes from Pennsylvania, Christine has lived most of her adult life in Colorado, New Mexico and Utah and feels most at home in the mountains. When not working, she loves to run, mountain bike, do yoga, hang out with her dog, travel with her boyfriend, friends or family and scuba dive.
Christine has taught writing in various forms to preschoolers, professionals and people of varying ages throughout her teaching career. She is grateful for the experience of engaging in and witnessing the development of her students’ critical thinking skills here at FLC.
