Visiting Instructor of Writing

Kate has been teaching writing since 1990. After a few years teaching middle school language arts, she went back to school for her Masters degree in Composition and Rhetoric at Washington State University. 

She taught at WSU, Boise State University, and Massey University in New Zealand before joining the Writing Program at FLC in 2006. 

She loves teaching here, especially TRS, Comp 125, and Comp 252 courses, where she hopes she helps students start their college and professional careers with a strong reading and writing foundation.
