FLC Hawk Tank competition will conclude virtually

The 2020 Hawk Tank Business Plan Competition at Fort Lewis College will conclude virtually via Zoom on April 18. Hawk Tank is FLC’s annual business plan competition, hosted by the Fort Lewis College School of Business Administration and Office of Alumni Engagement. The competition is open to teams led by current FLC students, recent graduates, and Four Corners area high school students. Competitors have the opportunity to take a new business idea from concept to storefront, and successful plans can earn cash prizes and FLC scholarships.

The 2020 competition includes a high school track, recent FLC alumni track, and current FLC student track. High school students are competing for FLC scholarships, up to $8,000 for first place, in addition to cash prizes. The alumni and college teams can earn up to $5,000 cash for first place.

Business plans were due March 23, just as FLC moved to a virtual campus due to coronavirus. Community members and media who are interested in observing the competition can follow the Hawk Tank Facebook and Instagram pages for regular updates.
