VoFLC: Tom Stritikus

I chose Fort Lewis College because of its incredible diversity, the dedication of the faculty and staff, and the amazing potential of our students. When I first walked on this campus, in my interview in 2018, I could tell this place just had incredible energy. And every day I walk on, I feel more excited about what we can accomplish. And every day I walk on, I'm more excited than I was the previous day. It's an incredible place to be.

There are so many days that I love at Fort Lewis, and it's hard to pick out a single day. But I so enjoy our senior symposium, where students after their journeys, present research, their creative endeavors, what they've been doing for four years, and to walk through the Student Life Center and see students' passions, whether it be sustainable farming, cancer research, art and creativity and to see where they've come over their four years of Fort Lewis College, to me is an image that makes me smile, makes me proud to be part of this institution and makes me optimistic about the future of this country. This is Tom Stritikus. I'm President of Fort Lewis College.
