The CSA is packed with produce from the Education Garden, Farmer-In-Training Plot, and incubator farms, so you support the efforts of dozens of young farmers by signing up. Since we’re located at 7600 feet in elevation, we specialize in greens, herbs, root crops, peppers and more; because tomatoes are not very productive for us, we partner with other farms to bring those to you at the peak of summer.

Our CSA philosophy is to provide a wide variety of vegetables throughout each CSA season and to include a mix of favorites and new varieties. Our crop plan mirrors your shopping list and includes lots of carrots, salad mix, onions, and cute red radishes; we also believe it’s a farmer’s job to introduce CSA members to a few new varieties that are well-adapted to these growing conditions, tasty, healthy, or are just plain fun: perhaps kohlrabi, fennel or Napa cabbage.
