Exercise Physiology Learning Outcomes

  1. Problem Solve. Apply evidence based practices in real-world scenarios. Develop and implement exercise prescription for apparently healthy and special populations, analysis of human movement, understanding of motivations.
  2. Analyze and Evaluate Information. Analyze information and data in the field to inform understanding and practice in the field of exercise physiology. Be able to be proficient in reading, comprehending and evaluating information (published research, websites, lay journals) for accurate information.
  3. Communicate.  Communicate effectively in written, oral, visual, and electronic forms to foster inquiry, collaboration, and engagement in the field of exercise science.
  4. Competency.  Demonstrate and verbalize self-efficacy and competence in the foundational knowledge and skills of Exercise Physiology.
