Fort Lewis College has launched a scholarship program to support the study abroad goals of FLC students.

Eligibility

• Any FLC student applying to study abroad through the International Programs Office with at least one semester remaining to fulfill at Fort Lewis College upon completion of the semester abroad.
• Applicants must be willing to intern as Student Ambassadors supporting the International Programs Office with information sessions, International Education Week, and/or other promotional activities upon their return from study abroad.

To Apply

• Submit a one-page letter of interest, including verification you will complete a minimum of one term at FLC upon your study abroad completion; how you would be a successful ambassador to Fort Lewis College, your community, family, and country while abroad; and how you would promote study abroad to your peers upon your return to studyabroad@fortlewis.edu.
• Scholarship deadlines: November 30 for spring and March 30 for summer/fall.

Recipients will be notified via email.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

Eligibility: U.S. citizen; currently receiving a Pell Grant; full-time student
Amount: Up to $4,000
