In addition to their teaching responsibilities here on campus many of our faculty are members in various small and large ensembles and can be seen and heard around the Four Corners area.

Quadrivium is the professional vocal chamber ensemble of the Four Corners region, performing fine small-ensemble vocal music to enrich the Four Corners community. Working as a four- to five-voice ensemble, usually unaccompanied, Quadrivium showcases infrequently performed vocal repertoire at the highest level of artistry. All of our vocal/choral professors are members of Quadrivium.

The Red Shoe Trio is made entirely of Fort Lewis College music faculty members and performs in Durango and around the area.

San Juan Symphony is a regional orchestra comprised of players from around the Four Corners area. Most of our instrumental faculty members perform with the San Juan Symphony.

Jeff Solon's popular Swingin' Big Band entertains dancers and listeners alike with their renditions of all the favorites of the big band era.

In addition to his swing dance band, Jeff heads up other small groups and can be seen playing jazz around town. Be sure to visit for more information and to find out where Jeff's next performance will be.
