Diverse Voices: Cendrillon and Musical Scenes of Diversity and Inclusion

Directed by Suzy DiSanto
April 23-24, 2021

Free and in-person for FLC faculty, staff and students only.

Will be live-streamed and will stream again the week of April 26.

Fort Lewis College Theatre and Music Departments will present “Diverse Voices” April 23rd and 24th!  First is the 1904 operetta CENDRILLON by Pauline Viardot, a charming rendition of the classic fairy tale CINDERELLA.  Then “Musical Scenes of Diversity and Inclusion” will be presented.  From race to gender, sexual orientation to religion, these musical scenes will explore stories from 12 Broadway musicals that helped pave the way to a more inclusive stage. You will enjoy scenes from THE PROM, RENT, SPRING AWAKENING, IN THE HEIGHTS and more.  Join us to celebrate the merging of these 2 departments!
