Our mission

Teaching and Learning Services at Fort Lewis College aims to foster a community of practice around teaching and learning. We support a collaborative partnership with faculty and staff to create engaging and accessible learning experiences for all students. Together, through sharing ideas and resources, we can improve and expand students' learning experience with on-campus, hybrid, and online courses by using researched-based approaches and contributing to innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration on campus. Through workshops, training, and instructor support, we strive to make FLC a community of people who love to teach and are excited to learn.

Teaching & Learning Team

The Teaching and Learning Team is a college committee that was initiated in Fall 2018 with the goals of collaborating/supporting Teaching and Learning Services around offering campus-wide professional development and supporting distance education program delivery, quality and policies.
