Merit Scholarships

FLC automatically determines eligibility for and applies the Professor's, Dean's, Provost's and Presidential tuition scholarships during admission. Consideration is based on high school GPA. Awards range from $2,000 to $5,000 per year for in-state students, and $6,000 to $10,000 for out-of-state students.

New Mexico Reciprocal Scholarship

New Mexico residents with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 are automatically awarded the New Mexico Reciprocal Scholarship, which lowers the out-of-state tuition to the in-state rate. For the 2020-2021 academic year, the NMR is valued at $10,656 per year, reducing tuition to $7,056.

Native American Tuition Waiver

Students who are members of US federally recognized Native American tribes may attend FLC tuition free with the Native American Tuition Waiver.
