Experiential educators, adventure educators, outdoor educators, environmental educators, school and college faculty and students, wilderness therapists, those interested in making a positive difference, and employers seeking to hire staff—are all invited to this regional “super conference.”

Date: April 7-9, 2017
Location: Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado

What is the Colorado Outdoor Educator Symposium?

The Colorado Outdoor Educator Symposium is an annual conference designed for college students that are studying outdoor education. The conference aims to provide college students from around Colorado the opportunity to connect and network with each other while gaining a better understanding of the outdoor industry.

Students enrolled in Fort Lewis College’s course, AE 450: Organization and Administration of Adventure Education, attend the conference and submit a workshop proposal to present at the conference. It's a great way to get AE FLC students connected with others in the area and share innovative ideas.

What is the Association for Experiential Education?

The Association for Experiential Education (AEE) is a nonprofit that aims to connect a global community of educators and practitioners and expands their capacity to enrich lives through Experiential Education.

The Adventure Education Department at Fort Lewis College is an AEE Organizational Member and values the organization and what it stands for.
