Men’s Basketball Drops to No. 23 in NABC Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – November 21, 2017 – After a 2-1 start to the season, the Fort Lewis College men's basketball team dropped seven spots in this week's 2017-18 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II poll.  The Skyhawks entered the season ranked 16th overall.

Women’s Basketball Jumps to No. 14 in WBCA Poll

LILBURN, Ga. – November 21, 2017 – The Fort Lewis College women's basketball team jumped eight spots in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Week 1 poll.  The Skyhawks entered the preseason poll at No. 22, but after a 3-0 start, FLC is ranked No. 14 in the top 25 poll.

No. 22 Skyhawks Remain Undefeated; Defeat NNMC 105-51

DURANGO – November 16, 2017 – A 54-point win Thursday night by the No. 22 Fort Lewis College women's basketball team improved the Skyhawks record to 3-0 on the season.  FLC (3-0) won their third straight game at home, defeating Northern New Mexico College (1-4), 105-51, at Whalen Gymnasium.

Skyhawks Reduce Admission to $1 for Thursday’s Nike N7 Games

DURANGO – November 15, 2017 – Admission to the Fort Lewis College women's and men's basketball games against Northern New Mexico College on Thursday, Nov. 16 has been reduced to $1.  FLC faculty, staff, students and retirees (with Skyhawk card), active military members (with ID) and children 13 years old and younger will still receive free admission.

Twelve Skyhawks Earn RMAC Football Accolades

COLORADO SPRINGS – November 14, 2017 – Twelve Fort Lewis College football student-athletes earned 2017 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Football post-season accolades.  Earning first team honors are Donell Pleasant III (safety), George Marpaung (defensive tackle) and Max Peets (punter).  Dre Cortez (cornerback), Isiah Mayberry (inside linebacker), Darrian Stickney (outside linebacker), OJ Thompson (defensive end), Christopher Blanton (defensive end) and Ben Raybon have been selected to the All-RMAC second team.  Receiving votes and earning honorable mention are Tyler Telphy (running back), Jeffery Brinkley (offensive line), and Daniel Walker (safety).
