REQUIREMENTS FOR A FOUNDATIONS IN DIGITAL MARKETING CERTIFICATE

A student majoring in any discipline may complete a certificate in Foundations in Digital Marketing upon satisfactory fulfilling the core and elective requirements.

Note: A grade of C or better is required in all courses required for the certificate. If pursuing a Digital Marketing Certificate you may need to seek an electronic override prior to registration from Skyhawk Station, advising, or the instructor.

Core Courses:

MK 281 - Digital Marketing Channels Credits: 3
MK 340 - Web Development 1 Credits: 3
MK 380 - Social Media Marketing Credits: 3

Certificate Choices:

Complete one (1) course from the following:

ART 210 - Communication Design Practice Credits: 3
ART 380 - Interactive Design I Credits: 3
MK 486 - Marketing Research Credits: 3

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR CERTIFICATE - CREDITS: 12

Prior to course registration, students should review all courses for prerequisites, minimum prerequisite grade requirements and minimum class standing.

Note: At least 50% of the coursework toward the certificate must be earned at Fort Lewis College.
