Continuing Concurrent Students

A continuing concurrent student must complete all of the steps below even if you have already attended Fort Lewis College.

Step 1 – Apply for Admission

Application Instructions

  • Download and fill out the Concurrent Enrollment Agreement.
  • Continuing Concurrent students DO NOT need to pay the $40 application fee.
  • Have your parent sign your application in ALL the required places.
  • Submit your application to your Guidance Counselor. They will help you gather signatures from your high school Principal and Superintendent.
  • A continuing concurrent student DOES NOT need to provide updated transcripts or test scores.
  • Guidance Counselors should submit all admission materials via email to jzgilbert@fortlewis.edu OR mail to:

Step 2 – Confirm you enrollment

let us know that you are still planning on attending.

Step 3 – Make an advising appointment

To sign up for classes you'll need to talk to with an Academic Success Coach. Call the Office of Student Success at (970) 382-6985 to schedule your advising appointment.

When you are scheduling your advising appointment, indicate that you are a 'Concurrent Enrollment' student, so we can match you to the best advisor for your needs.  

  • Appointments for the Fall can be scheduled starting at the end of March.  
  • Appointments for Spring can be scheduled starting at the end of October.

You can have your advising appointment over the phone or in person, whichever you prefer.  Parents are invited.  If you schedule a phone appointment, you’ll need to be sitting at a computer (with internet access) during this one-hour appointment.

Step 4 – Financial Commitment

We are happy to provide our Concurrent Students with a reduced tuition rate, matching the Colorado Community College tuition rate, and saving you and your high school money!  Most school districts will pay the tuition for Concurrent Students, but be sure to check with your high school to make sure.

Fort Lewis College Tuition Per Credit $130.50*

*This figure reflects the 2015-2016 per credit cost. 2016-2017 per credit cost will be published as soon as the Colorado Community Colleges make it available.

As a student at Fort Lewis College you and your family will be responsible for paying student fees, buying your own text books, and providing your own transportation.

Once you register for classes, you incur a financial commitment to Fort Lewis College.

If you decide not to attend Fort Lewis College, you must take action to cancel your schedule before the first day of classes to avoid being responsible for a portion of your tuition and fees. To cancel your schedule, fill out and submit the Cancel Your Enrollment Form and withdraw, via WebOpus, from your courses before the first day of class.

*Most courses at Fort Lewis College are three to four credits total.
