Scholarships recommended by El Centro

  • hispanicfund.org – To qualify for this scholarship you must be a U.S. citizen studying full time in the U.S. or Puerto Rico and have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0. Students must also demonstrate a financial need.
  • hepcamp.org – To qualify for the CAMP program the student must be the child of migrant workers. There are other specific qualifications which can be found under the eligibility link to see the rest. The CAMP program helps children of migrant workers successfully complete their first year of an undergraduate program.
  • cahsee.org – This is the website for Center of Advancement for Hispanics in Science and Engineering Education. Students studying in these fields should go to the website to check out scholarships and programs.
  • hacu.net –This website provides a list of numerous scholarships and programs for Hispanic students. Click on the “Student Resources” link to find a complete scholarship list.
  • maldef.org – Provides support programs and scholarships for non-residents or Mexican-Americans.
  • hsf.net – The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is a great resource for scholarships.
  • fastweb.com – Fastweb is a great general scholarship search tool. With fastweb you give them information about yourself to create a profile. Fastweb then does a search of what scholarships you are available for and tell you what they are when the applications are due and all that other information.
  • Hispanic-contractors.org – This is the website for the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado and provides support for education.
  • unsf.org/scholarships/ – This is the United Negro College Fund website. Hispanic and other minorities qualify for these scholarships and programs. This is great website with some very important and large scholarships and help available.

Scholarships for International Students

  • iefa.org – This is a scholarship for students studying abroad.
  • iefc.com – This website is for international students. Go to the website and click on the “international student” link.
