The Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, Inc. http://www.abet.org, is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization that accredits college and university programs in the disciplines of applied science, computing,  engineering, and engineering technology. The ABET seal of approval assures students that the degreed program meets the accepted national standards for a quality engineering education.
Accreditations Granted
In July of 2005 the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, http://www.abet.org, approved the Fort Lewis College Engineering Physics program for engineering accreditation.
In July of 2014 the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, http://www.abet.org, approved the Fort Lewis College Bachelor of Science in Engineering program for engineering accreditation.
The Department of Physics and Engineering at Fort Lewis College is proud to offer both the Bachelor of Science in Engineering and the Engineering Physics Option as engineering accredited programs to our students. These are the only accredited engineering program in western Colorado and the Four Corners region.
