Fort Lewis College’s media production students have exclusive access to the Digital Media Lab and Multimedia Studio. The media lab houses 17 Macintosh video editing stations that have Final Cut Pro X and Adobe products such as Premiere Pro and After Effects.
The Multimedia Studio is located next door to the lab and is used for class meetings, production demonstrations, and for shooting scenes and interviews. The studio contains lighting equipment and a large green screen area that is used to create a variety of video effects.
Equipment includes Canon 60Ds, GoPros, Rode microphones, Tascam and Sony audio recorders, lighting kits, monopods, and a variety of other media production tools.
