Staff teams for the 2014-2015 school year include: 

Zero-Waste – This team works to move Fort Lewis toward becoming a zero-waste campus. They run the EC laser and ink jet recycling program, are working toward implementing composting for campus dining, hold a Free Store every week, and supports the city and county as they move toward zero-waste.  

Real Food ChallengeThis team works to advance FLC towards our goal of purchasing 20% 'real'---fair, humane, ecologically-sound and locally-sourced---food on campus by 2020.

Campus Sustainabilityhelp implement Fort Lewis College's sustainability commitments.  Currently, they are explore larger picture sustainability projects like helping building systems for increased local, sustainable food on campus.

Local Food Security – The food team runs the EC’s demonstration organic garden and greenhouse and works on education the community on how to produce fresh, locally-produced, and organic food.


Weekly staff meetings, lunches, and social events bring everyone connected with EC together and help build a stronger community.
