There are a number of ways to get involved with Environmental Center’s projects and activities.
The EC offers student team member positions for those looking to gain real-world experience working on environmental projects on campus and in the community. Students with Work Study will have the opportunity to be paid for their work, though students without Work Study are also encouraged to apply. Beyond committed team member positions, we love to have students volunteer with us to work on any number of our projects. We also partner with FLC faculty on various academic opportunities including internships for course credit.
FLC Faculty and Staff:
Faculty interested in creating academic partnerships with the EC should contact Coordinator, Marty Pool. We encourage any FLC faculty and staff to check out our programs and initiatives and take part as a volunteer. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to get involved with the Campus Sustainability Council.
The EC is always interested in potential partnerships with community organizations that share the EC's mission of environmental stewardship and advancing sustainability. Please check out our programs to see how your work aligns with our current initiatives, projects and programs. Feel free to contact us to set up a meeting to discuss potential opportunities.
