There are a number of ways to get involved with Environmental Center’s projects and activities.
The EC offers student staff positions for those looking to gain real-world experience working on environmental projects on campus and in the community. Students with work-study are given preference, though students without work-study are still encouraged to apply. Beyond paid staff positions, we love to have students volunteer with us to work on any number of our projects. We also partner with FLC faculty on various academic opportunities including internships for course credit.
FLC Faculty and Staff:
We encourage any FLC faculty and staff to check out our programs and initiatives and take part as a volunteer. Visionary faculty and staff can also fill positions on our Board of Directors.
Faculty interested in creating academic partnerships with the EC should contact Coordinator Rachel Landis.
The EC is always interested in potential partnerships with community organizations that share the EC's mission of environmental stewardship and advancing sustainability. Please check out our programs to see how your work aligns with our current initiatives and programs while supporting our vison and goals.
Community members are also encouraged to fill available positions on our Board of Directors.
