The 10K will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Online registration is now CLOSED!

Race-day registration will be available beginning 1/2 hour before the first race on Sunday.

The race will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, the race will either have a delayed start or, depending on the intensity of the weather, be canceled. The determination will be made by the Event organizers.
As a reminder, the registration fees are non-refundable.

April 10, 2016 will be our fourth annual 10k @Three Springs for Books & Things organized by faculty, staff and students within the Fort Lewis College Exercise Science department. We have also added a 5K. All of the proceeds from the entry fees for the 5&10k @Three Springs for Books & Things go toward a scholarship fund for eligible Exercise Science students. The 5&10k is designed to provide scholarship money for tuition, room & board, books, and fees to help support the education of promising students within our department. Eligible students can be enrolled in one of five options/majors: Athletic Training, K-12 Teaching, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Specialist, and Sport Administration.

Testimonials from 10K scholarship recipients:
"Receiving the ES scholarship was truly a blessing. It helped cover school-related expenses and was especially useful for purchasing textbooks. The scholarship was yet another way the ES department has assisted me in my journey to become a PE teacher. The 5k and 10k are great events that engage the community in physical activity while supporting hard-working students in the ES department. Thanks for your participation and support!" Tom Poole, 2015-16 scholarship recipient.

"Throughout the school year, this scholarship has helped me IMMENSELY! It helped me pay any outstanding fees at the beginning of each semester, and living expenses. Upon graduation, I would like to create a non-profit for Native youth that embeds fitness and wellness, or go the route of Physical Therapy. Either or, I know I will be happy with my future decisions." Casey Long, 2015-16 scholarship recipient.

"My goal is to graduate from Fort Lewis College in December 2016 and to continue my education in Fall 2017 in law school. The scholarships I received helped me tremendously in my time at Fort Lewis. They were obviously a financial help, but more importantly they gave me acknowledgment for all the hard work I have poured into my education that gave me an extra drive to keep going." Kate Bayes, 2015-16 scholarship recipient.
