Institutional Scholarships for Undergraduates

Fort Lewis College awards three types of renewable scholarships to assist undergraduate students with financing their college education.

  • Merit scholarships are awarded at the time of admission by the Office of Admission. The Financial Aid  Office automatically renews these scholarships if the renewal criteria have been met.
  • Opportunity scholarships are awarded at the time of admission by the Office of Admission and the Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid Office automatically renews these scholarships if the renewal criteria have been met.
  • Performance scholarships are awarded after the student begins attendance at Fort Lewis College by the program coordinator.  They are renewed by the program coordinator and the Financial Aid Office.

The terms and conditions published for the initial award year will be unchanged for the duration of the scholarship award. These are listed below for each institutional scholarship.
