The Intruder: descending cougar /  sculpture in bronze by Ken Bunn

This sculpture, situated on the landscaped traffic island at the entrance to the Cultural Arts Complex of the Southwest (i.e., the Concert Hall and the Center of Southwest Studies), was presented to the college by the Ballantine family in honor of Morley Ballantine in a ceremony on November 9, 2001.  It was cast at a foundry near Paonia, Colorado.
