Subjects ~ Notes: Civilian Conservation Corps (U.S.) - Pictorial works; ; Public shelters - Colorado - Durango - Pictorial works; Durango (Colo.)  ~  This stone picnic shelter is located west of (and across the road from) the Hillcrest golf course. A CCC worker is seated on each side of one of the four entrances.    The Lion's Den appellation is rather recent, being associated with the Durango Lions Club's renovation of the shelter, which is part of Durango Parks.
